Property Tax Sales
SB 642 was approved by both chambers during the 2025 Veto Session. The legislation includes several provisions, including one clarifying delinquency dates and interest rates for first installment 2025 property taxes to provide additional time for Cook County as they wait on the General Assembly to amend state law to comply with the United States Supreme Court decision in Tyler v. Hennepin County. ISACo supports providing this additional time to all counties.
